Preserving Open Space in Chester County

What You Can Do

The local Boy Scouts have done an outstanding job over the years in helping out to maintain the trails and woodlands in the Open Land Conservancy preserves.

Many other volunteers, as well as organizations like Trout Unlimited have helped to cut vines in the woodlands and keep Valley Creek free of debris and downed trees.

The Open Land Conservancy is leading the effort to
preserve the Great Valley's remaining open space.
We're caring for hundreds of acres of protected land.

There are many ways that you can get involved in our
conservation work and feel good about your
contribution. We appreciate the support of volunteers
and depend on individuals and organizations for
funding and for help in our preserves.

Here are ways that you can support the cause of land preservation in your community.
